Ok so I just got back from a trip over seas and I am scrubbing through my videos(shot on tape) and I see what appears to be the white balance changing back and forth slowly.

Here is an example:

Dropbox Mp4 (https://files.getdropbox.com/u/993706/White%20Balance/Wbalance-MPEG-4%20.mp4)

not super obvious when watching, but blatantly there when scrubbing through.

Auto white balance was NOT on and it only does this on a couple tapes...but that is a huge deal for this project.

Does anyone at least know what I did wrong so I can avoid this in the future?

Thanks

Looks to me more like a fluorescent strobe. were you shooting at 24?

Yep, looks like you had a shutter speed mismatch. You have to set your shutter speed to match your AC power, so in the USA you should force the shutter to 1/60th. If it was any faster than 1/60th this would happen.

What's the fix in post for that? Keyframing rgb in levels? Anything easier?

Wow...wish I had known that. It was in Peru and the power was 220. What should I have set the shutter to?
