I'm happy to say that I got the firmware upgraded and now it's working like it should. I definitely recommend this monitor...

One thing to note. It is now shipping with the factory screen protector on it. They are starting to put labels on this because it is hard to see. I actually thought they sent me a crappy monitor, but it turns out that they had rushed me a replacement and didn't realize that it was really difficult to tell that the protector was still on there. I wasn't the only one that this fooled...If you look closely in the corner near the bezel and see an edge, then that is the protector. Carefully try and see if you can remove it.

thanks for the update!

This monitor has definitely been on my radar for a little while now - this sounds like great news.

The new Marshall has a few really useful sounding features that makes it tough to decide.

They paid for shipping both ways. They actually sent me a different unit because I have a lot of shoots booked and was worried that I would be without it.

the firmware revision i have on mine now is 5.0
