Vixia HG20 Import into Final Cut Express?

Does anyone know how to import recorded video from the camera into Final Cut express? i've read that its avchd compatible but when i try to import it says it can't read it. anyone know how to fix this or anything?

I'm having a similiar problem with my hfs10. It will pull it up in the "Log and Transfer" section, but will not put it in my project. I don't get it.
