I fucking LOVE YOU GUYS!
Man that had me in stitches. And the fireball! Best use of special effects EVER!
From the title sequence you guys really had me hooked. BIG SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER movie all over it. I was like WTF do we have here? Then you showed me. Great use of temporal physics there (and some of us really need to read up on our temporal physics and time travel). Cinematography was solid all the way through, and the blocking... what can I say about the blocking? Phenomenal.
I'm glad you guys were around to save the world!

Certain names come to mind;
Plato, William Shakespeare, Orson Wells, Stanley Kubrick. It was as if they all got together and had a baby, and it was "Dave & Morgan Save The World".
Excellent.

WOW! When the title sequence came in with the epic music I was thinking this is going to be a really good film or I'm about to be fooled. But I got both. The music was really good. The acting was great. The story was flat out hilarious! Was not expecting that at all! Great job!

Def. caught me out. It's like Bill and Ted in nerdsville :P Funny guys, well done.
Now if theres such a thing as a fest "theme" movie, like a leader to set the scene of the fest. This would be it for me.

Silly. Funny. Cute. Loved the opening credits. Actors did a great job.
What more can I say, it was over before it really started. (Kind of like my film?)
Congrats to cast & crew!

Hmmm. This was definitely too long. It just droned on and on! Also, the cinematography was perhaps a bit too ambitious...
:) So how long did it take to shoot? An hour?
you are way ahead of your time. no, wait you went back in time. nicely done. dave did great, morgan, not so much. nah, morgan was awesome too!
I felt like I was sucker punched - took me a second to realize what just happened. Then laughed and watched it again. Then made my partner watch it. And watched it again before writing this. Very clever and surprising. Nice work.

Short but sweet... Loved it.
I loved how serious it started as if this was going to be epic and the actors appeared, I looked at the small running length, saw what was coming and laughed.

Hey thanks for the praise guys -- this is our first anything from CA.
This took about...oh...4 hrs to shoot. Plus the drive down to Long Beach, plus eating BBQ.
I'm working 60 hr weeks...So I'm going to have to wait for the weekend to start watchin'.
Can't wait to Questify.

HAH!!!! HAH!!! :) good one!
Haha, I was watching full screen so I didn't notice the length. Great stuff! When I first saw the credit roll I was thinking "Weird, they are showing a lot of credits for so early in the film...".
Although honestly I would have liked to see more of an adventure from these guys! I guess that'll be for next time ;)

I think you should use that timemachine of yours to go back to timefest. Seriously though, that was great. It took me a second to get it and then I watched it a few more times.

Well... you certainly have inspired me to enter SOMETHING into the next fest... you've effectively eliminated all my excuses.
Not to put a harsh on the buzz here... but your last entry was SO satisfying on several levels... all this one did is make me want to see what you guys will do next.
Technically, this was decent... as for writing... it was above decent... but artistically... I know it was only a teaspoon from that five pound bag of comedic sugar you guys are holding.
So yes... good... but you raised the bar yourselves last time... and now I'm hard to please when your name is on it... but I mean that as a serious compliment, not a dig.
Oh... and I should also say that the guy that's camera right... he is gold, jerry, gold. (I've got 3 cards full of fake mustaches that have been sitting in my junk box... now, inspired by the AC turned scientist, I will unleash mustached hell on the world!... which is ironic... you know... considering.)
No seriously... I'd be all for mustache fest. Yes... every entry must feature somebody with a FAKE mustache. Now THAT would be a fun fest... (endless genre possibilities... biker guy from The Village People posters... yeah, that fest would have it all)...
Very Very Funny. Loved it. In your face 6 minute limit!
I'm waaaay down for the Mustach Fest. Sign me up.

holy shit. You fuckers... I loved it. Almost wish you could make the QT player not let you know how long the movie is...
Nice work guys. I wish there was more - but leaving me wanting more is a pretty good thing.
And nicely shot too - good work!

This was great. I guffawed aloud. The only thing that I think would have gave the punchline a little more kick would be a flash or skip or something to actually make it seem like they went somewhere and came back. But a great to the point short.

I wish I couldn't have seen the meter on the QT player burning by so quickly, so that I wouldn't have known in advance this was going to be a shorter film....
The biggest payoff on this was the massive build up to it. Absolutely phenomenal poster, epic titles, etc. .... and then *poof*, it's over. I liked it. Not anywhere NEAR as much as your past works, obviously, as I believe you put more into those on many levels. But, to get something in, and still give us something to make us laugh ... great job.
You actually had to cater this thing?? It was like a two hour shoot, right, if that? :) Maybe you had the catering for post production....

When we asked our cousin Carol if we could shoot in front of her house she said, "Do you want bbq?" and we said "Obviously."
This was great. I guffawed aloud. The only thing that I think would have gave the punchline a little more kick would be a flash or skip or something to actually make it seem like they went somewhere and came back. But a great to the point short.
There was quite a bit of discussion about something like this. In the end we decided the real joke was to be as minimal as possible. Like if you were watering your lawn while these guys were walking by it would look like they were just talking, stopped for a second, and then kept walking. That's what we wanted the audience to see too.

I think the lack of a time travel flash, really drives the whole effect home. Awesome film. Great buildup, timing, all of it. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do next. Good job!

This was one of my most favorite films of Questfest and I'm sad that it didn't make it to top 8. It was so funny. The writing , the acting , the execution... its all there... it was perfection... I predict this will go viral... this is the first movie that I played for my friends when I wanted to show them what questfest was all about.
I think its a perfect teaser for a feature length comedy. Sign me up for the DVD when you make it.

Funny stuff. I had the advantage of watching this on my PS3 so I didn't have a clue how long it was going to be. The fact it caught me off guard made it much funnier. great work.
Did you guys make Lost at Sea? If so I thought even though this was shorter, it was a better executed short, I really like it. I was hoping to see this in the finalists. :-(
