Ive tried everything. Really. Ive tested a million different settings to find no results. What am i doing wrong.

Ive read all the export threads. Watched all the videos. here links. the first link is my work.

here the second. This video is shot on hvx200. And supposably its exported to same settings.

The final size is large sure. Ive adjusted the VBR from 5,000 to 15,000 with really no change.

My videos just arnt crisp and clean

what are you using to export, and from what program? I usually use compressor from fcp, and have great results. What you have listed seems like it should give you good results so thats odd.

One thing I noticed is that your pixel aspect ration doesn't match your width and height.

On a side note, I get stellar results with File>Export>Quicktime Conversion. Use h.264, select the size you desire from those listed (or create a custom size, if you are shooting 1920:1080 make your size selection based on that ratio and if you are shooting 1280:720 than base your selection on that ratio). Restrict your bit rate to about 1500. You should get good results.

do they look like that once it's been compressed by flash on your uploaded version? or do they also look like that str8 outta compressor?

They look perfect on my computer. A guy who shoot the other video i posted was shot on hvx200.

There gotta be a small variable that im not doing right

if the quicktime files you export out looks good and it only looks bad once it's converted through flash then it sounds like its the flash compression quality needs to be set to a higher quality. if your using a site that automatically does that then consider using vimeo.com that has better flash compression.

Filmboy both of the videos linked were filmed on a hvx200. The better quality video is supposably the same settings. So something is wrong with my videos. The other video quality isnt amazing but its much better

I think what he's saying is if the video looks good on your computer, then it's fine. WHen you're uploading it there's something going wrong in the compression of the video. In order to test this, upload your video to VIMEO, YouTube, and maybe one other site. If they look crappy on all 3, then go back to your video (as far as your troubleshooting business goes)

In other news, what's the name of that song in the first video, with the flute? It's a pretty cool track.

Ive uploaded to Facebook,Youtube,Vimeo,Grindtv all 3 websites are same results. Vimeo is by far the best. Facebook a little better and youtube grindtv suck.

ya the quality looks great on my computer.

Some guy told me to shoot 720p 24pn and i would get better results. I uploaded a sample of 24pn and it does look drasticly better. everything above is shot in 1080i 60i

yes that is exactly what i'm saying.

@ VideMedia - not sure what type of better results dude is talking about by shooting at a lower resolution, but if the compression from all these free sites are not up to your standard then consider creating a simple webpage and uploading the QT file itself.

good luck either way.

Its not that the compression from the free sites isnt good enough. I work for the website grindtv and i have to upload my videos to the site to get payed.

Im just trying to find a missing puzzle here. thanks for all your help
