So what I did was just shot a 40 minute 1080p video then sped it up in vegas. Is there any reason I shouldn't be doing this with the GH1? I did it for years with a Sony HDRSR1 and it still works, and has an internal hard drive, the GH1 has "no" moving parts, that I know of. Basically, I'm asking if I'm an idiot, is there an obvious reason I shouldn't be doing this, because unless you guys tell me I'll keep doing it and I don't want to break/lesser the quality of my GH1. Oh, also is there an intervelometer for the GH1? I know you should use a point and shoot to do time lapses because there are no moving parts, but does that count the GH1 out? It still makes a "snap" sound when a picture is taken, but it isn't as loud as a full sized dSLR.
