good enough for dvcpro hd?

is this laptop fast enough for cutting dvcpro hd. No cc no effects just cutting with adobe cs3.

Any Core 2 duo should be fine.

Bump the RAM and make certain you have a fast dedicated media drive.

He means buy and isntall more memory (RAM). Keep in mind Vista uses about 1.5 GB of ram just to run (XP uses about 1) the more ram you have the better off you will be editing. But don't go over 4GB, all 32 bit OS cant recognize and utilize more than that.

But I'll go with XP. Then 4 would be too much because xp can only use 3 is that right?
