P2 offload to HDD via firewire error

I have a firelite 100GB firewire 2.5 hard drive and a portable power source to power the drive. the problem is that it will offload one time and the second time it will start to offload then say it has a error and it cannot find the target. and help would be greatl help thanks

So, what are you trying to do? Offload via Host Mode, or with a computer?

My inclination would be to suspect the drive in question. All drives are not created equal.

But give more detail.
