How do I export from camera and then import to Avid for least quality-loss? I have tested several ways using VideoPierHD and then exporting to DNxHD and then importing to Avid. Is this the best solution and how do I do with 720 50p clips, the clips are not slowed down when imported to avid. Do I have to do anything in avid to make them 50p?
And may I say this probably the most addicting forum on the internet :)
best regards

I've tested with good results to use Mainconcept AVC->MXF converter. This is the easiest way.But you loose 50p. Procoder works but introduces colour shifts.

it will give u couple passes but i've done tests with neoscene to cineform codec and import as DNxHD to avid, the transcode time is very long but it works.

Another route is to use media encoder in Adobes CS4 to recode.

What settings are you trying with? And what settings works best?
