I haven't really seen anyone discussing any possible Premiere CS4 4.1 workflows. Everything I find is before the 4.1 update. So is it possible to edit with the AVCHD media directly and then upon exporting the project will CS4 4.1 remove pulldown properly?
If so this could save a generation of compression and encoding time, all while allowing roundtrips with After Effects for effects and color correction, assuming you have the system to edit AVCHD.
If this is possible, could you export the final project using another codec (AVI, ProRes, Cineform, H.264, BlackMagic, Kona, or others) and still remove pulldown if necessary.
I'm not too familiar with Premiere yet and don't have the camera yet to test this, so does anyone have any ideas about this? If it would work I think I'm about to get really good with Premiere.
