Best 720pn output setting with Final Cut

Hi All

I shot footage 720pn...want to get the best quality out of Final Cut so another outfit can use it..I used h264 with a 1280x720 HD setting for making the QT file to FTP...Is this the best setting ?

h264 really is not meant for editing purposes. Viewing yes. Editing no. If the other person is editing on Final Cut output as 720p DVCPROHD QUICKTIME.
