Pretty cool. I liked it. Those types of shows are very difficult to shoot. You didn't mention if it was 720 or 1080. Keep shooting.

720p/60

(sometimes 720p/30 because in dark scenes it was hard to keep a constant well-lit 1/60)

All handheld?

All handheld?

Yup. I will try iMovie stabilization because FCExpress doesn't have that feature.

How are your feelings afterwards looking back on this experience; did the GH1 work well for you as a tool? Looking back at your footage you got, do you come away with satisfaction of your results?

What was ISO? Did you do any internal camera settings?

Nice footage!! when you say part was shot 720 30p do you mean AVCHD 720 60p with 1/30 shutter or MJPEG 720 30p?

i shot bands with the dvx100b for about 10 months last year through a local bars website, interviews and whatnot, and it was always so hard to move through a tight crowd to get close to or away from the stage, i see footage like this and i can't wait to get back to work with the GH1.

dmoreno: AVCHD 720 60p.

PappasArts: I turned iExposure off (follow these tips (http://www.hotrodcameras.com/2009/06/10/gh1-film-look-new-tips/)) and most of it is ISO 1600. I don't think I'll film much over ISO 1000 because it becomes very grainy and has lots of horizontal & vertical streaks. Can't wait to use primes wide open but I know it will be even more difficult in manual focus mode for fast-moving subjects...

Cool to see how good it looks with dynamic content like this. I've seen people charging lot of money for stuff like this shot and cut a lot worse. God job!

Can't say I see any takes that need to be stabilized in post. Handheld shakes and fashion shows go hand in hand. In fact I actually think they are married.

Only thing I don't like is the rap part that starts the second song but I guess I'm ruffling somebody's feathers just by saying that. Apologizes already.
