Promised myself to shoot some footage on the HPX 170 today, and get it on a Vegas 8 timeline.
Have a demo version of Raylight Ultra.
Is this all I need?
Card reader? Or can I go ciirectly into computer from camera?

Software-wise, that's what you need. You just drop the files from the Video folder onto the timeline.

You can go directly from camera. I'd advise transferring to a hard drive first, though.
