Matching HPX170 with an original HVX200 in a 2 camera setup. We are doing a TV talk show style in a small theatre with overhead theatre lights and additional audience and back lights. We will probably use low gamma with a mid knee. Is the zero pedestal to -6 difference the same between them as with the the HVX200a?
Is there anything else I should be aware of?

I have to say I have noticed a big difference now with the noise levels. I shot a bunch of stuff in bright daylight with the HPX170 for the first time the other day and it's very gratifying to no longer see the dancing greens on the leaves of trees. I also shot some shots of a couple seated at an outdoor cafe at night. I needed a lot less extra light to make it work than I did with the HVX.

Thank you Panasonic.
