I'm in a 2 camera White studio shoot, and I cannot get them both set the same way for whitebalance.
I'm trying to get both cams to show 3.2k on the LCD, to gaurantee my tungsten but only one will.
I've equalised menus between the 2, auto, manual etc, but the second only ever shows ATW.
I've managed to White balance the dodgy cam to the 3.2k cam pretty closely, but I would just like to have them both showing 3.2k on the LCD.
any help appreciated. feels like user error, but I'm left scratching my head as to what I've missed.
thanks

Bump.
Please, does anybody have a pointer here?
All I want is to be able to have 2 cameras running at a 3.2K preset.
One plays ball, the other doesn't want to know and just runs warm, even with manual white balance.

Are you on the preset for 3.2k on both cameras (switch next to gain switch)? If not, are your scene files exactly the same? Could be a color temp adjustment could affect your manual white balance.

You seem to have the "bad camera" on auto tracking for color balance. You likely have one of your user buttons activated.
Try hitting the different user buttons on the bottom left side of the camera.
You can go through the menu, I think #9, and turn off ATW under user 1-2-3-4.
That's the problem with such a flexible camer, it's easy to not know some setting is turned on.

Clicking the AWB button while in PRST, with ATW auto in the menu auto switched to ON, and the presets just don't seem to be there.
I can continue pressing the AWB button and perform a AWB and ABB on the PRST setting, but simple clicks as instructed do not give me the 3.2k preset.
I only ever get ATW on my LCD, it never switches to 3.2k.

TedRR, thankyou so much didn't realise stuff could be buried deep within the user buttons like that. Would have been even better 2 days ago;-)
Now I've 3.2K sitting pretty on my LCD... and some post work on yellow highlights.
