Sending video from FCP 6.0 to HPX170 via firewire

I am trying to use my HPX170 as a cheap way to send video to a small NTSC TV so I can preview my Canvas off of FCP. I want to do this so I can color correct efficiently.

I can get my camera to connect to the TV via Component RCA connections.

I know how to get into DUB mode on my camera, but cannot get FCP to output video to my camera. I am currently trying to do this using a Firewire connection.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Make sure the camera recording format matches the FCP timeline (so, either 1080/60i or 720/60p). You cannot be in 720pN mode, at all.
