HF S10/S100 with RODE Stereo Mic - argh

Hi guys,

So I have an HV20, and am looking at the HF S10 or HF S100 new Canon that is out, however..... it has a mini-hotshoe.

What do you do in this case ?

Anyone have the RODE Stereo mic ? and have an HF -S series with the mini-hotshoe ?

How I wish Canon had put a regular sized hotshoe on this camera. Argh.
