Very nice. This cam keeps looking better and better. I can't wait for mine. That 720p60 looks excellent.

Kids are beautiful ! Kids rock !

I can see you are a proud GH1 owner and a proud dad, I know my daughter will most likely be the first person I film when my GH1 arrives.

Opening shots look really stunning but some of them look to have quite a lot of noise in them or there's something with the sharpness. The closeups look killer. did y ou shoot at a high ASA with the cam?

Would be great to see more with the FD lenses as this might be my route as well.

Wow, beautiful! Seems like the Canon 50mm FD works really well with the GH1. Which settings did you use, the colors seem really vibrant.

Thanks Ed, 720p60 (SH), Creative Motion picture mode, Film mode Dynamic, M (Manual exposure mode), Shutter speed 1/60, aperture f8, ISO 100

edit: (aperture was more like f5.6... my mistake)

We start seeing the versatility of this camera in terms of settings and on camera color rendition. The film mode was Dynamic and it really shows in the color. Also yo had the aperture set at f8 and look at the shallow DOF. Rolly, do you think the shallow DOF at the same aperture would have looked the same with the kit lens?

John, I might have it wrong, I made a quick test and it's more like f5.6, I will make a more in deep test this afternoon with FD lens and the Kit lens. AFC (auto focus continuous) work pretty well with the kit lens while in movie mode, I love it.

5.6 is still a high aperture. Everybody talks about getting fast lenses for shallow DOF but if I close it to that aperture and still get it with the kit lens then I don't need to get any other lens for that. That plus with the kit lens you get all the auto features. As for low light I plan to use lights for what I want to shoot. It doesn't seem that I will need that much more though with the light sensibility of the GH1. Keep having fun with your camera.

Quick question Rolly, where did you order your FD adapter from?
