So there is a HDMI out during preview mode? So can you record to a Blackmagic Intensity or Nano Flash, by not pressing record on the camera, just the external devices? Would it be 4:2:2?

I don't think there is any live HDMI output at all, just SD video output, which shuts off when recording. So unless somebody finds a way to modify the camera to live HDMI out, it will be a 0:0:0 colorspace.:cheesy:

Ah right sorry, I thought there was a HDMI preview output before record.

The first wholly manual vDSLR that comes with full quality 1080p @ 30/25/24 fps out over HDMI will own the indie market together with Nano Flash or AJAs KiPRO. In the meantime I'm very happy to have a GH1.
