Has anyone done this?
I did a search but couldnt find anything.
I called Abel NYC and they told me the Kata-oc84 could do this, anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks in advance.

The Ogio Ty 2 bag is made to hold two HVX200's. I have one, it's a bit skimpy but for the price it works.

Thank you Kingwo
I just need to be able to take it on the plane with me, have you flown with it?

Anyone else?

crs,

I've been using the SAME ty video bag from ogio for around 5 years now. 2 HVX's, and a MBP 17", and typically a manfrotto tripod attached to it as well...all as a carryon just about every single weekend. The zippers are finally starting to wear, but it's been a very, very solid bag. I would definitely recommend.

I've got a Kata carry on, can't recall the model number though because I don't have it with me at the moment.
Used it several times and it held a HVX, SLR, several lenses and a 15inch Macbook (will take up to 17inch).
It'll easily hold two HVXs. The only real concern and I guess no matter which bag you are using is the allowed carry on weight, I am always over.
They checked my carry on for weight once and I had to take stuff out, was pretty complicated situation.

Careful. I hate traveling with gear.

That's wierd...I've never once been weighed for carryons. I typically have two hvx's, a 17" MBP, and a tripod all attached to me #1 carryon. That's easily a 30-40 pound bag with all accesories in the bag too. Then I also carry a bag that holds my harddrive's, which is a stack of lacie 1.5TB's...weighs a good amount too. I'd be in a world of hurt if they told me to unload.

Dude, you're really lucky then! I've been flying quite often but one time they gave me a hard time. I believe that was British Airways, they also delayed my flight on the way back, will never travel with them again, ever.

C .

I don't have the bag with me at the moment, but I checked on the Kata website and there would only be the OC84 which looks like the one I have. You can buy this with or without wheels. I have another Kata for my photo equipment, been using Kata for 2 years now and very satisfied.
