Hey,

Has anyone done a comparison test of what a Century Optics or Cavision fisheye lens vs a fisheye lens on a 35mm adapter? Just curious as I was doing a little research and wanted to compare them. I know the DOP wouldn't factor in as much but the texture of the adapter may make a drastic difference no? Just wondering out loud.

Peace,
E

I have the .6 wide angle from century optics for hvx200, and a letus with a canon 15mm fisheye. They both give significantly different looks, not to mention the wide angle isn't zoom through and the 15mm photo lens is. The fisheye on the adapter definitely gives a wider field of view. All in all both are amazing pieces of glass...just depends what you want to do I'd say.
