The science is sound. This seems very interesting. As mentioned in the article, Tesla tried to accomplish something like this, free energy through the atmosphere. Unintentionally he created a radio transmitter... I think that's how it goes.
Anyways this sounds cool. I mean cell phones can use very little energy when charging. That's why they have solar panels for charging cell phones. But this is a step furthur, just using radio waves.
