**Sorry this is kinda long**

Hey All. Ive recently been doing some studying up on Panasonic's scene files for hvx on their website. found here: http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/scene_files.asp?model=HVX200

So I got out my endless supply of very small sd memory cards and put them all on a series of cards. All worked except for 2.. Hmm. When I put Punchy and Velvet on the card and loaded it into my HVX, it still says in blue something like no file. All of the others have worked and I tried putting them in different spots i.e. naming them scene1 and scene 2 and then trying scene3 and scene4. In all circumstances the spots supposed to be filled with these two specific settings didnt work. Anyone experienced this?

Jan, Im sure this probably isn't something you are responsible for but maybe you have heard of this or have an idea of what's going on?

Anyways, Im really itnerested to get these two scene files to work.

Thanks for any help.

HI,

Put the sd card into your computer. Open up the text files, yes you will have to drill down through all the folders. See what camera is in the header. I believe it should be the AG-HVX200. But to check, look at the files that work, copy that. Done.

Let me know what your resolution is and I will have the guys change it.

Best,

Jan

Same thing happened with me. I loaded in punchy, crispy, nature and velvet onto sd card. Punchy and velvet showed up in unuasable blue.

Crispy and nature did show up as scene files.

So I looked in scene text files and the ones that didn't work for me have HVX200A header. The ones that did work have the HVX200P header.

I have the HVX200, older model. So does that mean crispy and velvet scene files are made for HVX200A or can I change in text file and reup scene file in camera to be used. I guess I should try it myself but I don't have the camera in front of me.

Yup, I just took a few minutes here at work and tried changing the header for the files that say HVX200A. I put the card in the cam and it worked fine. If you have the first HVX and are having trouble getting the files to work....just check the header, if it says HVX200A, then make it say HVX200P. And of course Vice Versa if you own the 200A.
