Hey everyone, while i was reading in the hpx manual as to the different methods of importing clips in to Final Cut i saw that i could go to File>import> and there should be a p2 option. However on my final cut system there is no P2 import option? Is this because my FCP is not up to date (because im 99% sure it is) or have i failed to install the necessary plug in from panasonic???
my second question is that i thought (like the sony ex1) that the HPX can capture 1920x1080. But i have noticed that the compression being used my camera is the DVCPRO HD which is 1280x1080. Is there anyway i can get 1920x1080 with the HPX? and will this mean that my resolution is better? I have heard that larger frame size doesn't necessarily mean better image quality so if someone can clear that up for me that would be great as well.
