I think they're still working on this. Any movement guys?

I think they are going to allow us to use any of the ones from CGI Fest 3. I just downloaded the one that I liked and am using that in my timeline right now. http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=169640 (http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=169640)

Your free to use any one you like. The ones taken directly from the CGIFest viewing thread are smaller and heavily compressed. If your OK with that then your free to use those versions. Slightly larger and uncompressed versions have been uploaded and I believe a page is being prepped for those.

Yes, I'll be providing the larger versions in the next couple days.

Ahhh! Somebody help! My film is done and ready to be submitted, but I can't get any of the leaders to work. All the audio works fine, but the video for all but one is just black. The one leader that isn't showing up black is not in motion like it should be. Any ideas?

Do you have quicktime installed?
06-30-2009, 07:00 AM
Yes, I have Quicktime installed. When I dowload the leaders & watch them in Quicktime, they all work fine. The problem seems to be coming in when I import the leader to my editing software. For some reason it's turning all the video to a black frame (the audio stays in tact though.) I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 11 for editing.

I think you may need a different editor!

Well, the good news is that my next film will be edited on Final Cut Pro. The bad news is that switching editing programs at this point for this film isn't an option.

Is there anyone that has the ability to convert any of the leaders in to an .avi file and email it to me?
06-30-2009, 08:26 AM
I can do that, which one to you want and what res?
06-30-2009, 08:36 AM
Thanks a ton! The gold one was nice. I don't need the audio if that makes it easier. The higher resolution, the better since I can always alter it once I add it to my film. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org . Thanks again!
