My film's thread sucks. And I wanted to apologize for this. I think after the thread for "Sixty Seconds", and ESPECIALLY the thread for "STUPENDOUS: THE MOVIE" (which for a while there was the 7th most popular thread in LossFest), you've all come to know my threads will be entertaining, constantly updated, and FULL of behind the scenes goodies.
With "Diner for Two" this hasn't been the case. I'll let you know why. Two main reasons:
1) It's not as quirkily elaborate (I made up "quirkily", but I think it's gonna stick) and so there's been very, very little pre production aside from rehearsals, lighting designs and costume fittings.
2)I'm SO busy right now. Aside from this project I'm also working somewhat steadily in San Diego as a headshot photographer, and I'm the Director of Photography and principal sound technician for two other projects, all three of which (the other two and my own) shoot between June 14th and June 21st. So every other day I have a production meeting and homework basically, when I'm not helping clients pick their favorite portrait to print.
So, sorry about that. I hope in the end you all enjoy "Diner for Two". It's a lovely little story, quaint and easily paced, but hopefully rings true. Thanks.
