hey guys, I just joined and we have this hardware situation at the moment for our camera.
The camera will turn on and most of the functions work except it won't turn off unless the power supply is removed. Pressing record causes no response. We're trying to record to a tape here. Also when the end search button is pressed, the camera says blank, the viewer turns green, and the camera starts buzzing loudly.

This happened before about two days ago and a guy repaired it for us. Hours later its doing the same thing again. I'm guessing the solution is just to get it looked at again,
but we're kind of desperate right now.

Any response is appreciated, thanks.

Unfortunately, that sounds like a major service issue. Very likely will not be something you can fix by resetting something.

there is a small reset button inside the LCD home where the colorbars and shutter buttons live. try it.

Sadly, I had two HVXs have similar responses. Both needed major service from panasonic (under warranty).

Has this problem also cropped up in the 200A?
