Have visited a lot here but new to the forum.

I was told this is the right forum.

Just bought a new HPX300. Love it. Also bought 2 of the new "E" series P2 cards 16Gb.

Can record in both AVC & DVCPRO all formats and view in thumbnails.

I mount the card using the USB connection on the camera onto the desktop.

Copy all files from the card into a folder that I created on my HD.

Launch FCP 6.0.5.

Go to Log & Transfer. AVC files come in fine but nothing with DVCPRO all formats.

I have downloaded the latest P2 Driver dated 6-2-09 update on the Panasonic website.

I borrowed a friends reg. P2 card and DVCPRO all formats works fine.

Any ideas on what's wrong?

(By the way you can see my review & thought on the 300 here.

I had just gotten word that a new update was posted last night on PASS website.

I installed it and all DVCPRO formats are now ingesting properly that were shot on the new "E" series P2 Cards.

3 Days of trying to figure this all out now DONE!

Abel Cine Tech had some. The 32 GB seem very popular, When I checked they had sold out the first batch. Don't know if they got more in

Good to know the 32GB has started shipping. I've got two on order from B&H, got the camera last week and it's killing me not having the cards.

Howdy- Just got an e-mail from the folks at BH. The 16 GB E-series cards are in stock:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&Q=&sku=618137&is=REG&A=ShowProduct?BI=4409&KBID=4862?info3 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&Q=&sku=618137&is=REG&A=ShowProduct?BI=4409&KBID=4862?info3)

Currently, 32 GB e-series P2 card is "accepting orders" status at BH, and 64 GB e series arrives in August.

You will need firmware update for some "hot off the press" glitches with the E-Series P2 cards. Link for Panny support desk is here:

I ordered (2) 32gb E cards from The Tape Company - and they tell me they should arrive by the end of June. The wait is killing me.

That is sweet news. Now I can buy twice as much memory as I was budgeting for.
