Hi

Out of the blue... my 200a began flickering red and green lines throughout the footage whenever i shot in HD.
In SD it works fine.
Just in HD.
It's random too. There are moments when it's not occurring and there are instances where all hell has broken loose and it's continuous.

Any ideas?
Any suggestions?
maybe even a link to another topic within this forum.
I don't know. I've been searching for red green / artifacts / flickering and what not and couldn't find anything and since i'm in sort of distress...
I figured I might as well get yelled at, but at least i might get a solution...

thanks in advance...

Does it occur on the recorded footage or only in the viewfinder and the recorded footage is fine.

Is it still under warranty? I would send it in to Panny and have them check it out. Call up their support, get an RMA number, and mail it/bring it in to them. If its hardware failure, which is what it sounds like, then theyre the only ones that can fix it (under warranty).

Red green lines occur both on the lcd, viewfinder, and the footage

I was hoping it'd be something else.
My warranty sort of expired

My camera started to do the same thing. Did you ever figure out the problem.

Is it through the middle of the footage or just the edges?

Might have something to do with the pixel shifting and maybe the blue sensor crapping out...
