I plan on creating a DIY dolly and DIY jib separately. I wanted to know 1) What kind of dolly is better to make (stability, weight, etc)? A "T" shaped base or a flat board? 2)If I decided to build the "T" shaped base, could that support the weight of a 7-8 ft jib arm?
I want to be able to use the dolly with or without the jib arm and I plan on placing them on a PVC pipe track. Please let me know what kind of experience you've had with any or all of these parts?
