Shot on Red. :)

I LOVE my Red. But in the end, i do not think that it matters what camera it is shot on- use what you have to the best of your ability. I've seen stellar stuff shot on the DVX, and crap shot on the Red- so the end result has more to do with the user rather then the equipment. (Just trying to encourage those who think they are shooting with sub par equipment.)

the whole "its not the camera" thing is such BS. Once I got Red my dreams were sweeter, I was more respected by men, desired by women, made more money, lost weight, became more inspired 24/7, grew taller, my Pontiac became a Porsche and the bathroom doesnt smell when I leave it.

Oh yeah, and I score horribly in DVXUser fests. :nads:

Looks like an HV20, or a 5D MKII - but I am hesitant about using a camera I don't know in and out. Most likely an HV20.

In other words, it's pretty much like an HV20 with a Hard Drive.

Huh? I was talking about what I am going to be personally using, an HV20 or a 5D. Dunno where you got the harddrive thing from.

oh, sorry about that man. thought you were referring to ki-ki's post. sounded like you were talking about that one. but in other words for you using the hv20, that's awesome! I have one, we'll probably be using that on my 2nd entry.

Yeah I'm still jammed between a PAL HF20 and a NTSC. Whichever is cheaper. :)

Has there ever been a film shot on film of any dvx fests?

Not to my knowledge. I almost did a few fests back and I would have been the first. But I have a terrible habit of not making the entry on time or making it at all.

...and you're not going to make this fest either? That's a few in a row? Dude, stop trying to make complicated films, grab a camera and make a film!

I'm pulllin' for ya'.

Well I am making this one (just did location scouting today), just it won't be for Quest Fest. Haha.

Oe of these days, I'll do something for the actual festival. I swear!

If he's not, i now am. Gonna shoot on some SERIOUSLY basic MiniDV tape cameras. Well, ones HDD and ones MiniDV. But i just can't be arsed to wait around for the next fest, and want a last minute crack at something. :)
