I am new to the GH-1. Just curious if this mount would work good for the GH-1:

you'll need something like this (http://cgi.ebay.com/NIKON-OM-MD-CY-M42-to-Panasonic-G1-GH1-m4-3-adapters_W0QQitemZ110376864743QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL ens_Accessories?hash=item19b2f94be7&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A16|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0 |293%3A1|294%3A50)
That 50mm will be closer to a 100mm FOV on the GH1

I'm thinking about just buying 4 or 5 mounts to be safe, since my budget was saved due to the great price of the GH-1. I have about a thousand dollar budget btw.

this kind of adapter does not have influence at the lens collimation?
because each lens has it's diferences in collimation..???.for example...using a nikon with my brevis got to have one collimation set up , if change to a canon mount it is need to collimate it again...
so , thats my question...
thanks...

Those distances should be factored in to the adapter.
Although,
if you get cheap adapters they can warp and possibly throw off collimation.

yeah , i figured it out reading around the net about those adapters...each adapter is made to fit respective lens' specifications.
