i've got a diy 35mm adapter that i've been using with my hv20. it's got step-up rings right now up to the 55mm achromat. a few friends want to borrow it to shoot a film, but they're using an ex1. could i just use step-down rings from 77mm and mount an ex1? would i end up with a bunch of vignetting, or should it be fine as long as i'm zoomed in far enough?
