P2 recording with DV widescreen

I borrowed a 300 two weeks ago and since I didn't have any P2 cards, I used an nNovia hard drive with an Anton/Bauer mount to attach it to the back of the camera. The files I got were my "normal" Microsoft AVI files. (The nNopvia also gives me the options of MOV or Canopus AVI.) My question is, if I buy the 300 and am shooting for someone else who only wants widescreen DV, what kind of files do I get with P2? I would WANT Microsoft AVI files... does the P2 format give me options with DV? (Not talking about DVCPro 50, just DV25.) I imagine a Final Cut person would want MOV files instead...

Everything recorded to P2 is MXF.

So does Panasonic offer a MXF to AVI converter for DV footage? With my HMC150 I can convert any flavor of AVCHD to standard def widescreen AVI with software from Panasonic.
