Which Software to Get?

I'm looking to edit DVX100A footage on my Dell and am wondering what Windows editing software is recommended? I see there are a few options on this list but know nothing about any of them. Any general + and - are appreciated.

Also for working on a feature length movie about how much ram and how much storage should I have?

Get Vegas 5.0+DVD Architect. A gig of ram and a couple hundred megs of drive space should be about all you need.

I run on a Dell with Vegas 5 + DVD Architect. I have yet to make a DVD, but that is coming shortly.

I am slim with only 1.0 GHz and 768K ram. Get a fast processor and additional ram if you can fit it into your budget.
