DL'ed the 30 day trial of Vegas 5.0 and I am hooked! My first NLE was Avid and every "why can't I just do this" from Avid I can just do in Vegas. I'm amazed at how intuitive and easy to use it us.
So anyways, I've conceded that this is going on my credit card when my trial is up. Where's the best place to buy Vegas 5.0 (+ DVD)?

I got mine on ebay. paid i think 300 or so brand new.

Are you a registered student, if so all you need is your school ID card and maybe some other information, but it is well worth the discount. Vegas+DVD is only $249 and it is exacltly the same as the non student version.
