Sound Glitches

I am working on a wedding video and when i got to the main event the ceremony and placed the video clip on the timeline in vegas the audio had glitches very consisently throughout that clip. I thought maybe a bad download, so i put the tape back in and when i preview the clip in the capture screen i still get the glitches. The audio is playing back fine in my deck w/o any glitches. I believe all my settings are correct. Anyone had this happen or know what maybe going on?

No frames drop on capture?

Also... you might have to chech out space on drive.
Also delete pre-rendered files
Speed of dirve 7200 RPM or faster
memory in computer ( How much is being utilized ) (Cntl ALT Del) the check performace of memory.
Page file too small
Two hardrives... One for capture and one for OS and App.

These are just some suggestions... I would need more information about your setup to be more specifice...

bryster, thanks for the reply. I dont think it has to do with space of drive, speed or number of drives, i have to sperate drives for video and os, and the speed is 7200 as well as having enough space. I dropped my tape in my recorder and then just started a capture on vegas. I just let vegas do its thing, b/c i found out that it will split the clips up everytime you stop/start recording. All of the clips that were down loaded play the audio fine. its just that one clip of the wedding ceremony that doesn't. I took the footage downstairs to another computer which has the same stuff as my upstairs computer, and the same thing is happening down there. When i listen to the audio from the speaker on the camera it sounds find, its just the audio the computer is playing back that has the glitches. Any Ideas? Thanks

Yeah, What so strange about this with Bigstein is that when you flip out the LCD on the camera, the audio sounds fine, but when you listen to it while capturing, it has glitches in the audio. Does it on the DVX and the Sony 100a. After the wedding...same tape, reception audio is ok.
Go figure? ???

Try to render a segment as an AVI and see the glitches persist.

What kind of sound card are you using?
