Is it possible to combine 60i and 24p in the same timeline and keep the interlacey video look for the 60i and the prog niceness of the 24p? ???
It's probably impossible but if anyone has any ideas. ;D

Yes, just shoot 24pN and make sure that you have the "remove 3:2 pulldown" button unchecked in the options tab. Then just start a regualr 60i timeline and edit it like 60i video. The 24pn footage will still be progressive as the even and odd fields will be displayed as a single frame, much like if you make a progressive DVD and play it on an interlaced monitor. Easy as pie.
