I have about 5000$ CAN to purchase a 35 mm adaptor kit and followfocus.
I already read a lot about all this here (very helpfull site) but I need to make sure what I am about to buy works.
I will shoot a short film in the Arctic in July so I need to buy now. PLEASE HELP ME (I am from filmstock backgound, this is all new to me).

My cam is an hxp 170 wich i believe has flip option and all I need to think about is that the adaptor has to be 72 mm.
Is there anything elses I need to consider as to hpx170 compatibility?
I will buy Pl lens mount. Am I correct in assuming that all still camera lense should fit?
Now, after shoping online, I hesitate in these 3 options.
This is a complete redrock cienma kit with follow focus. But, its from Vistek and their canadian prices tends to be too high. And I am not sure its a good enough adaptor quality. (any opinions? should it all fit with my cam?)

The other option id from Leitus directly. I cant afford Ultimate but ELite seems good for me. But I need to add a follow focus from elsewhere but it's still in my price range. (can any one tell me what technical aspect I should make sure to match for the HPX170...ring size stuff like that)

The 3rd option is from B and H. wich is normaly a bit cheaper than buying from Leitus directly. Is that kit enough?

You also have options like the Cinemek G35, Shoot35 SGBlade, Brevis etc. They all work with 72mm.
If I were to buy a redrock, I would go for the new m2 Encore which have improved optics and lightloss etc, not the old m2.
You don't need a PL-mount if you are gonna use still lenses, then you need a still lens mount like nikon, canon, pentax etc.

All the adapters(sub 2000$ price) has uniqe qualities, and there is no "one is the worst or best", but you have to find out what suits your needs best.
Try searching for footage shot with the hpx170 with the different adapters, and decide what you think looks best as well, look is very subjective :)

Good luck!

Thanks guys. I actualy bought the leitus ultimate with rod system directly from them.
But thanks Teddy to point me out to Cinevate, I will buy their follow focus.
And with the redrock matte system.. I should be in good shape for July production!
