I currently have a 2 ghz AMD processer with 1gig of ram. I am trying to render a 53 min wedding ceremony and I started to render it last night before I went to bed. I checked it 10hrs later and it had only rendered 22%. I have a levels filter as well as a color correcter filter on ever clip. Is this crazy or normal?

I might have found my problem I had three tracks of video because I used two cameras and then used excaliber multicam plugin to create a master track. I deleted the cam1 and cam2 tracks and kept the master track and it seems to be moving a bit faster we will see.

That seems to be normal for vegas. Vegas in my experience is sloooooow, but I'm not sure if it's the software or the wintel hardware that struggles with rendering.
You can also break up your video into regions and render out each of those separately. It probably won't render any faster, but your render times for each clip will be shorter, reducing the potential for catastrophic failure due to hardware failures, storage issues, power losses or CPU crashes.
Can we also assume that you're not posting on DVXUser using the same computer that is rendering out the video?

That seems way slow. I had a 55-minute wedding ceremony which took 5 hours to render.
A few things might be contributing to it -- 2 GHz is a little bit slow.
What else do you have running on the machine? Virus detection/protection programs? Anything else that runs automatically in the background while you're rendering? These take a lot out of the processor.
