Can anybody advice me on the PAL DVX102A capture in Vegas, Premiere or Avid? Which version that will work with the model?
Not able get it to work with Premiere Pro 1.5 and Vegas 5, or some settings that I missing out? Can't wait to get the shots into my PC and do some NLE... Thanks!

What are you trying (steps) with Vegas? Not sure why it wouldn't work.

I need to capture my clips from the camera to any NLE software. My problem is after pluggin the IEEE to my notebook, Vegas do not seem to detact the camera at all, Do I need a capture card to do this??

Vegas works with any OHCI-compliant firewire port. If your port is OHCI-compliant, Vegas should see it.
Do you have a Sony notebook, perchance? Sony frequently installs nonstandard firewire drivers, and Sonic Foundry (makers of Vegas before Sony bought 'em) had to come up with a driver fix, I think they called it sfsony.exe and it would swap between Sony drivers and OHCI drivers.

No sure about the OHCI compliant issue, checking with the manufacture now. The notebook is a M60 from Dell, anybody have experience with this model with DVX102Aen?? Please help...
.... if its non-compliant, anyone are welcome to suggest any "plan-b".. :-[ ???
desperado...

Not in Vegas, but you'll have problems trying to play PAL on any US TVs. You're probably going to end up converting all of your footage to NTSC if you want anyone here to be able to watch it.
