I'll be picking up a Letus Elite adapter tomorrow for my HVX200, but I haven't purchased any lenses yet.

I'd like to get a feel for the adapter and learn how to use it a bit better before I spring for any expensive lenses. Are there any cheap Nikon prime lenses ($100-$150ish) that'll work well enough for me to play around with the adapter and get some usable footage?

Nikon E Series lenses or the older lenses with the metal focus ring (A series I believe). Also, any slow Nikkor or Nikkon lenses should be more affordable.

you can get an excellent 50mm f1.4 for less than $100. other lenses cost more.
The old AI and AIS lenses are great.
