Hello! First of all thanks to all ouf you who tested the GH1 so intensely. The GH1 has a B/W mode and as I could see on Vimeo, it is capable of producing nice footage:

B/W as an esthetic choice is really tempting IMO but there is also a tencnical side to consider: The weak codec of the GH1 should be better in B/W because it has only to encode the luma information.
How much better does the codec work in B/W? Does B/W turn out to be one of the strenghts of the GH1?
