Just wondering, as I'm about to get a DVX & MB comes with it. There really weren't enough new features in Vegas 5.0 to justify the upgrade...

No, I don't believe it does. I think you need V5 for it to work.
I've used Magic Bullet in Vegas 4 in the past (though I never use it for any real project because it's a render hog).
However, I'm not sure if it can be installed without having Vegas 5 installed because I installed it with Vegas 5, but it showed up when I ran Vegas 4. I tried it and it worked :)

Boy, you got that right ! It takes forever on some of the processes. Then, if you don't like the finished look, oh well...another couple of hours in the can.

I got magic bullet with my dvx100a and installed it in premier pro 1.5. I just picked up vegas 4.0 installed it and wondered the same. It says it is for vegas 5.0 but lo and behold it installed automatically into vegas 4.0 (though I had to shut vegas down and restart it to see it, duh).
Does not seem to take as long to render with it on vegas as it does with pp 1.5.
