Hey everyone,

I built my own DIY static adapter months ago and now that I have everything I need: monitor, rails, etc. except ND filters for my SLR lens. What strength would one recommend for outdoor work? A 3pk of 0.3 , 0.6, 0.9
I'm not sure even all of them combined would equate to my internal ND filters on the DVX. Which brings me to another question, what is the equivalency of ND 1/8 and 1/64 on the camera in terms of stops? From my experience shooting, I've guessed each one is about 8 stops, is this correct?

So that said, isn't a 0.9 ND filter only about 3 stops, or will that be enough considering I have light loss through the adapter anyway?

No, 1/8 is equivalent to 3 stops, and 1/64 is another 3 stops, so each one is equivalent to a .9 ND.
