unlinking audio from video

How do I unlink the audio event from the video event? For example, I lay down video+audio event, then I want to drag the audio beginning out a bit but leave the video beginning where it is now. Right now, when I drag either the video or audio, both will extend. Thanks

you can also right click either the vid or audio track and select group/ungroup.

Or, select either the audio or video and press "U".
