Just wanted to throw out a quick question as I'm considering the Lumix GH1 with Nikon lenses. Would the Nikon 50mm f1.4 non AI work on this camera with the appropriate Nikon to Lumix adapter?

Yes that lens and just about any other lens you can drag out of the closet...
Realize though... It will be about a 100mm FOV on the G... If your looking for a 'normal prime' go for the 25mm range.

If your looking for a 'normal prime' go for the 25mm range.
I was checking fast and affordable wide angles that will become standard lens on GH1. Found Nikkor 24mm (and 28mm) 2.8, Zeiss 25mm 2.8.
According to reviews these lens are just OK, nothing spectacular about them. Are there any more advanced options among manual wide angle primes?

The zeiss biogon is only 'ok'?
At the top of the heap (with autofocus):
--Panasonic Leica D Summilux 25mm f/1.4
tough to find though...
--OLYMPUS ZUIKO DIGITAL ED?? (who knows about performance here)
