My GH1 is pre-ordered and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for FD adapters.

From the adapter list (http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dx428wg_10fdvsmtd7) i'm considering either jinfinance (http://cgi.ebay.com/Canon-FD-lens-to-Panasonic-G1-DMC-G1-micro-4-3-adapter_W0QQitemZ110341536053QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLe ns_Accessories?hash=item19b0de3935&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A30)'s or ciecio7 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Canon-FD-lens-to-Panasonic-G1-GH1-micro-4-3-adapter_W0QQitemZ250423968220QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLe ns_Accessories?hash=item3a4e6e81dc&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1240%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50)'s. Has anyone used these or recommend another one?

I wonder the same. I hope the prices will drop soon.

No direct responses, so I googled around for a bit. Seems like the Cameraquest ones ($175) the higher end, but a lot of people have enjoyed the jinfinance ($93). jinfinance also seems to have really great customer service, so I decided to try it out. I'll post a review of it once I get my GH-1. For anyone else who's looking, I found the following threads pretty helpful.

Thanks for the links. I think I will wait till the GH1 is available here. Maybe I go for the Ciecio7's. It's made in the EU and I can return it if it sucks.

I'm eyeing the 4/3 adapters made by german company Novoflex

I have a FD mount I bought from jinfinance. Unfortunately, I don't yet have a camera to test it with, but I can tell you why I chose it over the other ones I'd seen on ebay and that's because of the portion of the adapter that is the FD mounting point itself.

It appears to be a 'real' FD mount screwed onto the adapter like one you could remove (with a screwdriver) off of an old FD camera or old Vivitar extension tubes. Some of the other adapters I'd looked at have an FD mount that appears to be molded/cast/cut out of the same material as the rest of the adapter and in my 35mm DOF adapter experience, this kind of mount can be finiky. All of that said, I tested all of my FD lenses on the jinfinance adapter and one doesn't fit. It's a 35mm and might actually be an FL lens. Due to what I assume is a very slight difference in material thickness or whatever, it won't seat on the jinfinance adapter. No big loss as I don't use this lens much anyway, but I thought I'd let y'all know.

Thanks for the info. I won't make the assumption that an FL might work. An update when you get the camera would be welcome but, in all honesty, I'll have probably ordered one by then.

I purchased the FD adapter from jinfinance. I also bought an old FL lens, a Canon 50mm f1.2 to be exact. Even though I don't have the GH1 yet, I can confirm that the adapter works with the FL lens that I bought. I was easily able to twist the lens onto the adapter and it fit snugly. So, assuming the adapter fits onto the micro 4/3 mount of the GH1, it should work fine.
