I would like to make a shot that was filmed on a tripod, look like it is hand held. I would like a subtle movement, not Bourne trilogy style. How would this be done?

Parent your shot to a new null,

add a expression to the position transform of the null object

copy paste:
wiggle(8,0.9)

Tweak these values to suit your effect.

enable motion blur

If all else fails .....videocopilot .com

One way to get realistic hand-held movement is to set up a couple of targets on a wall and shoot a long clip of it with a handheld camera.

Track the motion of the targets.

Then apply that motion tracking data to the clip you want to appear as a hand-held shot.

I would have NEVER thought of that. That's ... pretty amazing.
