Here's a list of adapters and where to get them:

I ordered <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/NIKON-OM-MD-CY-M42-to-Panasonic-G1-GH1-m4-3-adapters_W0QQitemZ110376864743QQcmdZViewItemQQptZL ens_Accessories?hash=item19b2f94be7&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1546%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50">this</a> one. Seems like the best bang for buck I could find. If you intend on getting any 4/3 glass though you may want the actual panasonic one since it maintains the electrical contacts and you keep autofocus and iris and put a 4/3 to Nikon F on the front of that.

This is probably a dumb question... but... is there any chance that we'll ever see a Nikon-to-micro-4/3 adapter which allows the camera body to use the autofocus features on the Nikon lens?! I assume not.

I doubt it. I think the 4/3 to 4/3 adapter (which supports AF) is just passing the signal along to the lens. The camera and the lens still have to speak the same "language". I doubt panasonic or olympus are going to put nikon lens support in their cameras.

oh well!

Fingers crossed that the Nikon D400 will have a much faster frame-readout than the D90! Although, even if the D400 had no rolling shutter issues, I'd still be tempted to get the GH1 because of its face-detection system. Shallow DOF combined with rock-solid AF would be great.

Has Nikon announced that they are making a camera called the D400? Have they announced its release date?

I wonder how many threads there are about the D400, yet nobody has ANY proof that it actually exists.

Sure, I take your point.
